No school today ... again!

So, by now you may have heard about the accident next door to our school, over the weekend. The wall collapsed and seriously damaged our electrical transformer. This meant that our school's entire electrical grid went down.

Mrs. Pounder, Mrs. Mohammed and the staff did their best to arrange to have it repaired as soon as possible, but it really depends on the technicians at TTEC. Still, the upper school, those year groups who are preparing for external examinations this year, were able to resume classes (with no lights, no air conditioning or Internet access!) yesterday.

Still, that's the really cool thing about being connected. On our Edmodo feed we  can see that people are still communicating, collaborating and creating. Work is still getting done. YAY! Get connected - it's a good thing! Keep checking back here, or here, or here for further updates about when full classes will resume.

LATE BREAKING NEWS - Classes will resume for everyone tomorrow, Thursday 26th January. See you then!

Kids still read books!

But right now, we just want to congratulate 1L for being the top reading form last term with a total of 288 books completed. We had a great time celebrating in the library on Friday...

Did we mention there was cake involved? Keep up the good work everyone!
